Amida are recruiting for a reputable Project Manager position for a medium sized main contractor. This contractor has an enviable reputation due to long standing business relationships with their clients and subbies alike. Plus, they have extensive knowledge and experience in the construction marketplace.
This role is for a fully-fledged Project Manager, initially to deliver a £15m D&B logistics project based on the Essex / London Border. This project is set to start on site ASAP.
They a keen to recruit an experienced Project Manager ideally with experience in delivering industrial or logistics projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing projects from design stage through to completion of project and handover.
- Working positively and collaboratively with clients and supply chain
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environment their first priority in all decisions and actions.
- Manage and deliver all construction activities in an efficient and cost-effective manner that causes least disruption.
- Demonstrate a positive 'can do' attitude at all times whilst understanding the impact of decisions on all aspects of the project.
- To report openly and honestly at all times, acknowledging problems, analysing and providing seeking solutions.
- Take responsibility and ownership for the entire project.
- Need to have a background in Facades or cladding and experienced at taking projects from concept to completion.
- Capable of running a project and achieving quality and commercial success.
- Possess relevant certification i.e. health and safety, CSCS, first aid, SMSTS etc.
Once successfully delivered you will assist working in pre-construction on various tenders and then through to on-site delivery.
You will be able to build the future of this company within the construction department, with future progression to Directorship level.
